What I did last night...
Last night I went out with my girlfriends after not seeing them for almost 3 months. We get together quite often but lately we didn't get the chance to meet up as we were all becoming busy career ladies.
Anyway, we met up at Fahrenheit 88 (opposite Pavilion) at California Pizza Kitchen, our favourite hangout place. Usually we will hangout at KLCC but since our favourite restaurant has moved to Fahrenheit, we just had to move our butts!
As always we ordered the atichoke dips but I must say that it didn't taste as good as before. The ambiance was not like what we used to have. I guess things won't the same anymore... Have to find a new hangout place you guys!!!
Since Fahrenheit doesn't have a surau (yes, annoying isn't it? The more reason for us to find a new port!) we had to cut short our dinner to adjourne to the surau at Pavilion. After solat, we continued our meal for dessert at the cafe facing Fahrenheit (I forgot the name of the cafe!). There, we were like checking out our make up pouches. Can you believe it? Macam budak teenagers jer... But I must get those eye charms la! Thanks Iza and Pnutt for introducing those to me... My eyelashes looked gorgeous...
The best part has yet to come. We went to the MAC counter as Iza wanted to buy her eyeshadow. The rest were like trying on this lipstick, that blusher... It was really fun!!! We were like a beauty consultant for one another. Then our next stop, Bobbi Brown... There we bullied the sales girl, Kelly, asking her to apply lipstick to each of us, with the ones that suits our skin tone. And guess what happenned next??? Each of us bought ourselves a Bobbi Brown lipstick! Well, not everybody but just me, Emy and Elia. Iza got herself the mini party brush (ke apa ntah!) and Pnutt resisted herself from buying anything because she wanted to buy them at Sogo so that she could also collects her Sogo points (yes, I have crazy friends!).
It was really fun shopping cosmetics with your girlfriends especially those you have known for almost 20 years. We have been through thick and thin. Our next project is to get Kelly of Bobbi Brown to conduct a makeup workshop for us! Can't wait for that one to happen...
I love you guys!! You guys rocks!!!

Berakhirnya satu penantian....
After a stressful week of waiting and following up, Roohii finally got his new toy!
Without waiting further, we went for a ride that night, together with the rest of the GBB...
Suppose to have supper at Yik Mun Tanjung Malim but the shop has closed. So we end up having supper at Ulu Bernam R&R...
But I must say, no regrets in getting that bike!!!!

Anyway, me as 'pembonceng tegar' is also excited for it to reach home. Looking forward for many-many adventure to come...
A note to my beloved => I hope you are happy with your new toy. Do bring me along to wherever you'd be heading to especially to our northern neighbouring country... No hanky panky ya!!!

Trip to UK
This Saturday I will be flying off to UK to attend an induction programme organised by HQ. When I got the news I was damn excited! It's not about the travelling but rather getting the chance to go back to the place where it is filled with good memories....
You see, my life in UK was one of the best part of my life. Of course there are other good things that happened in my life like getting married, having my kids, but life in UK was something that I would like to repeat... Some people don't understand and think that I am excited for the free travelling and getting away from family...
Whatever other may think, I just wanna be happy for me... I am looking forward to go back down the memory lane and will cherish every moment of it...

Have to keep fit... get up and exercise!!!!
Signed up with Fitness First again, for the second time!

The first time round became home member of Menara Axis. At that time office was at Jalan 19/1 PJ, so quite convenient. Then office moved locataion to Damansara Heights, upgraded to passport holder. So workout was at John Hanckock, during lunchtime. That was good because walking to the gym was the warming up session.
Then I moved job to GSK in Ulu Kelang. At first tried going to class in KLCC, but I find it was rather troublesome and clashes with my other schedule. So I terminated my membership (with very heavy heart!).
Wangsa Walk came into the picture near GSK's office. Celebrity Fitness was opened. Joined that club, but sorry to say, nothing beats Fitness First.
Now I have moved to RB whereby office is just opposite the Curve. Apa lagi, pucuk di cita, ulam mendatang. After settling down with the new office, new environment, new boss, new colleagues, I signed up again last Thursday.
What a feeling! I miss those good group exercises conducted by Fitness First instructors. As I have been members of 2 fitness centre, I am really a Fitness First supporter! I just love their group exercises because I am not the type who can do workout on my own. The choreography is systematic and standard throughout the clubs, meaning that in whichever club I go, with different instructor, the steps are the same. So you wont get lost. My favourite classes are BodyStep, BodyJam and BodyPump. In addition, I get to manage my stress in a good way... I really let my hair down during BodyJam... hehehehe...

Ok guys, gotta hit the gym now...

Koh Lipe The Sequel….. Hatyai Bike Week 8-10th July 2011!!!
I know this have been waaaayyyyy overdue! But only now that I could squeeze in a bit of my time for this blog…..
After we had a marvelous trip to Koh Lipe, we were enthusiastically excited to bring our families along to Thailand. Without any further a due, our beloved organizer, Mr. Tasya organized a trip to Hatyai the following weekend. Yes, we are one crazy bunch of people!!!! The plan was to take the bus on Friday night, and arrive Hatyai morning of Saturday, shop till you drop and take the bus home on Sunday morning. Sound simple huh? Well, not as simple as we thought so!
Tasya managed to secure our bus tickets. We took the VIP bus that can accommodate 27 people and our group alone was 24! In my head I was telling myself, I pitied the other 3 person… Sure bosan giler dgn kegilaan kami!
Anyway, the journey starts at Puduraya. The bus was scheduled to take off at about 11.30pm. It was unfortunate for us because that Friday night, the police closed many roads in KL because of the demonstration planned by BERSIH the next day. Abg Sham & Kak Izan and family arrived rather late and we were really worried if they would miss the bus. Fortunately for them, our bus got stucked somewhere and we waited till almost 1am for the bus. Hati sudah agak panas masa tu…..
The bus company then ushered us to Jalan Duta Bus Station, because the buses can’t get into Puduraya due to the road closure. Once we reached Jalan Duta, we expect our bus was ready to pick us up, but unfortunately againg, we had to wait for another 1.5 hours for the bus to arrive. Adoi, I tell you, I was like really agitated! The worse part was that our bus had ‘extra’ passengers that refuses to come down from the bus. The bus company has mistakenly issued out extra tickets for these fellas. The bus people try to coax them to come down the bus, but they refuse to budge. At the end, we had to pretend to take another bus and only after we all boarded the ‘new’ bus, they all come down the bus. Then quietly the driver of our bus move away to another area and we switched buses! Kelakar pun ada…. Only at 3.30am we depart from Jalan Duta Bus Station!
We reached the boarder around 11am, and the immigration office was flooded with people! I think we queued for about 1 hours just to pass through the immigration officer. It was really a patience-testing moment! People were jumping queue and our big sister, Kak Izan really showed her taring! Jangan mare kak! We love you for doing that for us actuallynya!
We got to our hotel and we didn’t waste any time. We straight away went to the Market to have lunch and did a bit of shopping. We then returned to the hotel to drop our things and did another round of shopping nearby our hotel. At about 4pm we took the tuk-tuk to the floating market. Haaaa that was interesting!

After having our dinner at the floating market, we straight away went to the Hatyai Bike Week. As our journey started with an hiccup, we would expects further hiccups right? One of the tuk-tuk had a flat tyre and we had to stop by the road side to help change the tyre!!!!
Hatyai Bike Week was happening! My other half really enjoyed himself… and I believe there will be future Hatyai Bike Week in our agendas…..

Our day did not end there…. Went back to the hotel and get ourselves 1 round of foot massage! Aaaaaaaa….. heaven!
The next day was basically going home day. Everything went on well, until we reached the border! 2 of the bus passengers went missing! Poor bus driver has to search them high and low. That incident alone took us about 2 hours delay of our journey. It was very inconsiderate of them and we suspected that couple have something fishy going on!
We finally reached KL at about 9pm….
It was a tiring but enjoyable trip, full of excitement, anxiety and events!
Asked to repeat it? Well, yes without the hiccup!!!!!

Koh Lipe... My first biking adventure...
Koh Lipe… my first biking adventure
It started on Friday 1st July 2011…..
We gathered at Rawang R&R at about 8.30pm. Meet new friends. Total of 7 bikes => 2 GTRs, 1 Blackbird (that’s us!), 1 KTM, 1 Kawasaki Z1000, 1 Hayabusa and 1 Kawasaki Z750. I was anxious to be honest because this is our first time travelling this far and at night. Imam started his doa, praying for our safety, pergi dan balik. And then the adventure begins….
We reached Simpang Pulai for re-fueling. Normally we will travel for about 1 – 1.5 hours then followed by breaks, which is normally re-fueling. Scared of being sleepy, I took loads and loads of Red Bull drinks.
We continued our journey and reached Juru at about 11 something for our dinner. There we spend about 1 hour, breaking the ice and filled up our tummies. I was scared of getting sleepy that I did not take anything. Just drinks.

About 12 midnite we continued our journey. That stretched was a bit scary for me. As I was not used to the sitting arrangement and was not sure how to grip my hubby, I had a few ‘melambung’ moments. The road from Juru to Changloon was really bumpy and at 180kmph, you could imagine how bumpy it can get! My journey was full of adrenaline pumping throughout my system!
We got into Kangar town at about 2.30am. Waited for the homestay owner to bring us to the home and we didn’t wait further to rest our backs as soon as we reached there!
There were 14 of us, but only 1 bathroom/1 toilet, hence my aunt and I decided to wake up earlier so that we can get ready first. We slept at 3am and woke up at 5am! We were like pretty zombies… hahahahaha
We perform our Subuh prayers and continued our journey after that. We reached the homestay in darkness and left it in darkness as well… hahahaha
We stop over a small warung to have breakfast and the nasi lemak was marvelous! We did manage to see the sun rise while having our breakfast which is a moment to appreciate. It’s very rare you get to see the sun rise!

Entered Thailand via Satun town. I finally get to see the place. All this while, I only get to hear it from friends. Nothing so great about the town though. As we entered Thailand, it was very obvious that their infrastructure is nothing compared to Malaysia. How I am so glad to be a Malaysian!
We got to Pak Barra jetty at about 10am but still had to wait for the speedboat. The journey from Pak Barra jetty to the island took us about 1.5hour, so we basically reached the island at about 2pm. Everybody was basically sleeping in the boat with various pose and positon… hahahahaa….

A person from the hotel greeted us, but I was like shocked to see her or rather him…. How shall I describe ya… He/She had nicely groomed eyebrow and heavy make up. But he/she had a beard and you should check our her/his legs…. It was a nightmare!!!! But nevertheless, she/he treated us nicely, and she/he took care for us during our stay there. Her/his name is PhiPhi (we call her PhiPhi island… hhahahaa)

Then we had to wait for the buggy. The place we stayed was about 5-10 minute drive by buggy from where the speedboat dropped us. And the buggy guy had to make a few trips for us! That was quite boring to wait…

As soon as we reached the hotel, we were like, stunned to see the nice view and the nice crystal clear sea…. We just couldn’t contain ourselves but to just change to our swimsuits and jump into the sea….

We also had crabs by the seaside…. Aaaaa heaven!
Dinner was at a place called Bung-run. That is the only halal restaurant opened at the time. Food was heaven!!!!

Second day was full day snorkeling from morning till evening. The fishes and corals were magnificent. I thought that the snorkeling trip to Langkawi a few years ago was great but this was even greater!!! I simply fell in love with the island. Lunch was at the same place as dinner last night and the girls jump back into the sea right after lunch. The beach was really clean and crystal clear. We were so excited that we planned for a next trip so that we can bring the whole family together. I was like, ‘hey, this group are not bad at all….’ I kindda like hanging around with them…..

Monday was the day we travelled back. Sad but also excited to get back home as we misses the kids so much. Instead of taking the buggy, the hotel arranged a truck for us! Yes, a truck! I felt like a goat on the truck actually….

We reached Pak Barra jetty at about 12noon but we stop by at Diamond Restaurant to have lunch. It was superb!

We continued our journey at about 2.30pm (Thailand time) and reached the border at about 5pm (local time). Stopped over at Caltex Padang Besar for re-fueling and proceed back to KL at about 6pm. Imagine we are at Padang Besar at 6pm!!!!
Reached Juru at 7.30pm (yes, only 1.5 hours from Padang Besar!!!) and perform our maghrib prayers there.
Had dinner at Changkat Jering (food was excellent as well!!! I recommend the Yong Tau Foo). We depart from Changkat Jering at about 10 something. Stopped at Ulu Bernam Petronas for re-fueling. By now I was really, really exhausted!
After the long, long journey we reached home at about 1pm. Our journey did not stop there. We just took of our jackets and riding pants, took the car keys and picked up our kids from their aunt’s place.
Phew… it was a journey to remember, not just for the adventure but also for the new friendship built. I don’t mind doing it again though, it was a nice trip and a nice just-the-two-of-us moment with my other half. I am glad I did that and will continue this passion together with him as long as I can…

My new friends….

Abg Sham & Kak Izan – Our diving instructor

Our Imam….. social!

Paksu and Wancu….

Zul & Zack

And finally, Faizal and Gee (picture not available at time of blogging! Sorry!)

A week to remember….
W/c 6th June 2011….
The week started with news from a friend that her father passed away during his heart surgery….
The next day, I left for Singapore to attend a meeting/conference. The meeting was great as I get to meet up with old friends. Everybody was asking me where I was hiding myself for the past few years.
You see, I have not been attending these meetings since I joined my previous company (2007-2011). There was no opportunity I guess or rather not given the opportunity. Reasons given to me was always budget constraint but I don’t think that is the only reason. Let’s talk about that in another post ok?
Things went well, until Thursday evening where I got news that a good friend of mine lost her parents, sister and niece in a tragic car accident. It was a blow to me, as I was stucked in Singapore. I called up friends to find out more about her and everyone was devastated. I managed to send her a condolence sms to her and she replied to my sms. I wasn’t brave enough to call her, and decided to call her after a few days. I do not want to add up to her misery. The same night, my family was travelling from KL to Singapore via car. I was really worried….
I extended my stay in Singapore till Sunday as I planned to have a mini holiday with my family. Friday afternoon was riding pants hunting but unfortunately, we didn’t get any. My other half was quite disappointed actually… poor him! That night we went to the Night Safari. That was quite nice and the kids enjoyed themselves.
Saturday was USS trip day. Generally, it was ok but I find our trip to Warner Brothers in Gold Coast, Australia was much, much better. It was the school holiday period in Singapore as well as Malaysia, so there were many Singaporean and Malaysian at USS. On top of that, there were tourists from India, Taiwan and other parts of Asia. Sorry to say, Asians are and will never be like the Westerner. Probably it is the Asian culture of being ‘kiasu’ and ‘suka berebut-rebut’. A good example: while my daughter and me queuing up for Light, Camera, Action!, an elderly Malay Singaporean lady simply cut the queue and went in front of us. I was like so pissed, but seeing an elderly lady and out of respect, I let it be. But I lost respect for that old lady. The thing is her daughter was behind us, didn’t have the courtesy to apologies or seek our permission to cut the queue. And this happens in a developed country ya!
In essence, our trip to USS was nothing to shout about….
Sunday we drove back to Malaysia. What wonders me was that, at the Singapore immigration, traffic was smooth but as we enter the Malaysian immigration complex, we got stucked in the traffic jam for about 30 minutes. I mean, it is not like we have more people heading towards Malaysia after passing through Singapore immigration right? The same number of cars passed through Singapore immigration right? Sungguh pelik….
As we reached Sg Besi Toll, I realized there was a missed call from my colleague. That night I returned her call and she informed me that my boss’ father pass away that afternoon. Anther bad news of a friend… lost of loved ones again! The sadder news was that my boss was still in Berlin when her dad passed away. She was on the way back….
So, that was the story of my week… full of agenda, full of drama, full of excitement but yet full of sadness….

My other half’s (and mine!) new craze

We kinda have a new craze. Maybe it’s because that we are approaching our 4 series era, but I am not complaining….
We have adjusted our transportation arrangements i.e. decided to keep 1 car for me to use as in a family car, and him with a scooter ‘basahan’ and a superbike for weekend excursions. Me being a typical party pooper wife, at first agreed for the sake of keeping him quiet. But then, when I think about it, why not right? My thoughts, if we can fight them, join them! So, I reacted differently and looked at a different angle. Instead of being a pain in the neck, I followed his flow. To be honest, following is much, much easier!
We now have matching helmets, matching jackets, matching riding boots and now we are trying to look for a matching riding pants. It’s a difficult task because me being short and fat, it’s not easy to find readymade attire for my size. For my other half, no problem at all, everything fits him perfectly (which makes me jealous tremendously!)
Anyway, we did a few rides, with first one having breakfast in Karak. Then mee udang in Kuala Sepetang (it was meant for Kuala Kangsar laksa, but we did a bit further!). Then we went for a picnic at the Sg Klah Hot Spring with Tanjung Malim Pau on the way back home. The next trip is gonna be southern Thailand, and I can’t wait for that. Eh, before that, probably tea and scones in Cameron Highland’s this weekend. In a way, I take it as an opportunity of being together, just the two of us because normally he likes to involve the whole family. This is the only time that it is just him and me. Eventhough the him and me time is not as per how a woman wants it to be but at least I get that opportunity, which I am grateful for that.

Mending my own...
Pasrah...
Redha...
Terima seadanya...
Telan...
Memahami....
That is what people always advice us to do...
And yes, that is the most that we can do...
We are not allowed to voice out our frustration...
We are not allowed to voice out how we feel...
We are not allowed to disobey...
We are not allowed to say no...
We are not allowed to be happier...
We are not allowed to be sad...
We are not allowed to be ourselves...
We are not allowed to put ourselves before others...
We are not allowed to be selfish...
We are not allowed to reject...

Make Peace not War...
Been very drained lately...
I just don't understand...
People love making war than making peace kan?
I have tried my best, but yet I get back fired.
I suppose there is nothing that can be done because they like to be in a position of crisis all the time.
What I know, my intention was pure and sincere. There is nothing I can do if people mistaken and misunderstood my intentions. May Allah show them the way....
I want to have a good weekend with my soulmate and I want to have peace of mind...
Ya Allah, if I have done wrong, I seek your forgiveness...

Speechless with this type of people.....
A friend of mine got this joke (which I don't find it funny at all!!!) from her husband....
Quote of the day.. when a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch her stomach & say "CONGRATS".. but none of them comes & touch man's penis & say "WELL DONE"... sighhhhh Moral: Hard work is never appreciated
I was like, HELLO! making a baby is more hardwork than pregnancy???? This type of men have little respect for their women... At least you get to make baby with enjoyment whereas a women have to face pregnancy for 9 months with mostly suffering....
God, please give me patience in facing this type of men....

It's soooo difficult to catch our quality time...
Lately it seem soooo difficult to catch him...
In the office, he's too busy...
At home, we get family time, but not just-the-two-of-us time...
Weekend it's like everybody-has-their-own-time day...
Weekdays is also difficult to squeeze a bit of his time for me... 2 days a week is confirmed out of the question, so I'm left with 3 days... and even that I just could not get 1 day to myself....
It's becoming really, really sad...
We don't get to talk just the two of us... no dates just the two of us... it's now all about everybody and other people...
Is this normal? Do I have to face this for life? I don't know until when I can take all this...

Observation...
Today I did a day trip to Singapore. Attended a meeting organised by one of the government agency. My flight back home was at 4.40pm and my meeting ended around 11.30am. So you could imagine how long I waited at the airport.
Took FireFly so ended up 'lepak'ing at the Budget Terminal. Nothing much to shop and window shop. If main terminal kan best!!!
So, while waiting for the check-in counter to be opened, I sat down and did what I enjoyed most... OBSERVING PEOPLE...
I sat in front of the weighing machine... as it was the budget terminal, everybody was concerned about their luggage weight as all of them are travelling on the budget airlines. Some had happy faces as their luggage are within the limit. Some had to remove things from their luggage. So even weigh themselves!!! Hahahaha I thought that was funny...
Sitting near me was a group of Filipinos. I think there are foreign workers in Singapore going back for holidays. I can see it in their faces that they are so excited to go back home for a while.
I took a nap for a while but got jolted because of the chair. You know those chairs where they put a few seats in a row? The one that I was sitting was wobbly. One Korean lady sat so vigorously that it shook the whole chair. I was quite annoyed but then what to do, they are not as courteous as we Asian. I think Malaysian, Thais, Indonesian are the most graceful people in the region.
Now I am at the departure hall, hogging on one of the space at the Internet Zone....

Blue Ladybug transformed to Black Hawk...
It has been soooooo long....
It has been soooooooo long since I update my blog. Approximately 4 months…. It shows that I didn’t have the time to actually sit down and start typing….
So, where shall I start??? Let’s start from my last blog, talking about the cat that visited our home a brief moment. After she gone missing, all of us (and yes, including my hubby!) went gogo gaga of her missing. We all like a kitten lost of its mother. So we were very keen to look for a new kitten to keep as a pet. Somehow or rather, at the same time, a friend of us told us that her mom has an extra kitten. So without further consideration, we took the kitten. We named her ‘Anje’. She is a brown spotted tabby. Now Anje is the sparkle of our lives. She is now the baby for everybody…

In December, I got a call from a friend. She is looking for a Regulatory Manager. At that time, I was a bit unhappy with my workplace, and the call came in just right in time. I did give it a good thought to her offer, and after thinking real hard and some istiharah prayers, I decided to accept the offer.
In January, started at the new office with attending the regional meeting in Bangkok! I don’t know whether to consider that a good sign or a bad sign, but I take it as a good one. So far, as of today, I am quite content with my new office. People are nice, the marketing people are nice! I hope my life here will be long… I have to settle down already….

February is more of a month of adjusting my life at the new office. Made a trip to Singapore, to touch base with our contact person there. Trip went on well but an unfortunate thing happened on my way back from KL Sentral. Since it was a day trip, I drove myself to KL Sentral, park my Blue Ladybug there and took the KLIA Express to KLIA. The flight back from Singapore was delayed and basically was not a smooth trip back home. Somehow everything went wrong on my way back from Singapore. Flight was delayed, when we landed at KLIA we had to wait almost 15 minutes to be able to get off from the plane, I didn’t have small change to pay the parking as the machine does not accept RM50 note, after I ran around to change my big notes to small notes discovered that the machine is actually not working, ran up to the parking customer service office to pay the parking fees manually and drove home. On the way back, I meet into an accident! I banged the car in front of me and that car banged the car in front of him! We stop at roadside, near the petrol pump. Waited for my husband to come by, waited for the tow truck and adjourn to the nearest police station. Did the report and when we finished everything, it was 2.30am. It was a lesson learnt for me….. Really, really traumatic from the accident. The car was in the workshop for more than 2 weeks.
Now in March, the highlight would be our company’s Annual Dinner in Pangkor. All of us are required to attend. It’s like a company trip and is organized every year. Another good sign, I take it…. The theme of the dinner is Pirates Night and because the hotel we are staying can’t accommodate us in the ballroom, we had it in the open air. 11th March 2011, the same day of our dinner, Japan had it’s quake/tsunami. My roommate and I did nothing else but stucked to the TV watching the BBC News channel. It’s really, really scary. Doomsday is really near!

I think I better stop now as it is getting long….
